Donna Saunders

Donna Ramsey Saunders, 55 of Dinwiddie Co., was called home by the Lord, Monday, October 20, 2008 at her residence. She was a native of Norfolk, VA and the daughter of the late John Thomas Ramsey, Sr. and Ruby Perkinson Votsis. She was a registered nurse for St. Francis Medical Center and Virginia Urology. She loved nursing and had a special talent for helping people emotionally and physically. Her greatest joys in life were spending time with her family and playing games on the computer. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, James â??Jimmieâ? W. Saunders of Dinwiddie; children, Timothy Michael Renn and wife Vanessa of Wellington, New Zealand; JoAnn Allen and husband Peter of Norfolk; stepson, James W. Saunders, III of Dinwiddie; grandchild, Thomas Michael Renn of New Zealand; brother, John Thomas Ramsey, Jr. and wife, Patty of Norfolk; four nephews and one niece. A memorial services will be will he held Saturday October 25, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Second Baptist Church in Petersburg. In lieu of flowers, family has requested anyone who has any memory items including but not limited to pictures, stories, etc, to please bring them to the memorial service.
