Donna Williams

On Dec 6, 2008 beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Donna Hutchins Williams, age 63, passed after a courageous battle with cancer. Her whimsical, contagious enthusiasm for life brought happiness and smiles to both young and old. Life for her was a celebration of loving, sharing and giving to others. She was also the Queen of Hospitality and never missed an opportunity to make any event a time for food, fellowship, pleasure and laughter. Her life was reflected in the smiles and joy of all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents Janie and Andrew Hutchins, Jr. Donna is lovingly remembered by her husband, Billy, her two sons, Andrew (Andy) and Barry Williams, and her grandsons, Kolten and Bailey Williams. Her sisters, Tonya Hutchins Albertson, Andrea Hutchins King, Ruth Hutchins Wilson and Elizabeth Hutchins will miss her dearly.

Upon her marriage to Billy they moved from Durham NC to Richmond VA where she worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance and Chesterfield Trading Co.

A Memorial Service will be at 5 PM, Dec 10 at J.T. Morris & Son Funeral Home, Chester, VA followed by visitation from 6-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Crater Community Hospice, Inc., Colonial Heights, VA.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at CJW Hospital, 3-West, who cared for Donna during her illness, and to special friends Peggy Courtright, Ida Davis, and Carol Wrenn. The comfort of Donnaâ??s last days would not have been possible without the love, faith and leadership of many people, specifically Donnaâ??s sisters and Billyâ??s sister Peggy Geoffrey.
