Dora Markert

Dora Elizabeth Markert, 90, of Carson, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at home with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Markert, and a son, John (Jackie) Marquette. She is survived by her children Robert L. Markert (Lynda), Patricia A. Markert, Marion L. Norford (Ray), Virginia L. Smith (Doug), and Ernest L. Markert (Shirley). She was blessed with 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Chester Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services on Friday, February 22, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery on Nine Mile Road.
