Doris Vernell Harmison

Doris V. Harmison, of Prince George, completed her amazing 95 year journey to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 5, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents Aris and Edna Fowler; a sister Betty Sue Marsh, and her husband of 61 years, Van E. Harmison.
She is survived by two children, Van D. Harmison and wife Karen of Silver Springs, FL; Pamela H. Landrum and husband Richard of Colonial Heights. four grandchildren, Jeff (Mary), Angela (Brett), Carrie (Ray) and Benjamin (Lauren); two great-grandchildren, Della and Christopher; three sisters, Christine Britton of Loraine, TX; Mary Sherer and Sylvia Moon of Lubbock, TX.
She loved sports and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan. She was a longtime member of Gregory Memorial Presbyterian Church in Prince George.
The family will hold a private graveside service. The Rev. Dr. Jason Cashings, pastor of Gregory Memorial Presbyterian Church, will officiate. The family will hold a Celebration of Life service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gregory Memorial Presbyterian Church.
