Doris Griffith Keim

Doris Griffith Keim, 92, of Petersburg, VA, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016. Doris was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church in Carson. She was preceded in death by her parents Waverly and Josie Griffith, husband Theodore Keim and brothers Charles and David Griffith. Surviving are her three sons, Franklin W. Emerson and wife, Shirley, Henry Clyde Emerson and wife, Valerie and Kenneth B. Emerson and wife, Connie; a sister, Mildred G. Griffith; brother, Carlo Griffith; ten grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held 12:00 noon Monday, October 24, 2016 at the Shiloh Baptist Church, 18310 Halifax Rd., Carson, VA 23830 with a visitation one hour prior to service at the church. Interment will follow at the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crater Community Hospice, 3916 S. Crater Rd., Petersburg, VA 23805.
