Doris Franklin Lorentzen

Doris Franklin Lorentzen, 91, of Prince George, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022. Born in Winston-Salem, NC, she was the daughter of the late Walter C. Franklin and Florida M. Franklin. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Sergeant Major (Ret.) Loren Lorentzen; great-granddaughter, Robin Jones; and several brothers and sisters.

Doris Lorentzen had a passion for music and enjoyed playing her guitar and singing. She was a selfless woman who always put others first. Her husband, Loren, suffered a stroke and she stood by his side, taking care of him for the next 20 years. She is loved and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Mays (Calvin); grandsons, Robert A. Revis and Kenneth W. Revis; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Bermuda Memorial Park.
