Doris Palmer

Doris Reid Palmer, 85, of Hopewell, died July 11, 2007 in Hopewell Health Care Center. She was born in Powhatan, Virginia and was a Homemaker, a member of Powers Memorial Baptist Church, and Woodman of the world. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Lucy Smith Reid. Surviving are her husband, William â??Billâ? E. Palmer, Jr. of City Point, a daughter, Dolores P. Browder & husband Bernie of Chester, a son, William E. â??Billâ? Palmer III and wife Janet of Chester, two granddaughters, Kristine Jackson (David) of Prince George, and Dana Palmer of Chester, two grandsons, Bernie Browder, Jr. (Teresa)of Hopewell, Brad Browder (Kerrie) of Chester, nine Great-grandchildren, Josh Browder, Austin Browder, Caroline Browder, Lily Jackson, Grace Browder, Landon Browder, Christopher Heekin, Andrea Heekin and Bryson Tignor. The family will receive friends Friday, July 13, 2007 in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home from 6-8 P.M. A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 14, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Elder Bernie Browder, Jr., officiating.
