Doris Jean Patton

PATTON, DORIS J., 88, of Prince George, Virginia, passed away on November 12, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex B. Patton and her son, Craig E. Patton. She leaves to treasure her memory her sons, Daniel L. Patton (wife Cathy) and Carl O. Patton and daughters, Deborah P. Morrison (husband Jim) and Diana L. Patton (fiancé Doug James); she is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Matthew Rich, Rebecca Morrison, Lauren Meagher, Lindsey Folkes, Meredith Patton, Meghan Vissari, Emily Patton, Madison Farr and Benjamin Patton, and Amy Simpson, along with 5 great-grandchildren.

Doris served her country proudly in the Army and was a faithful servant through Christ. She loved her family dearly. Although she leaves a hole in her family’s heart, she is now healed in the loving arms of Jesus Christ.

Remains rest at J. T. Morriss & Son, Hopewell, Virginia. Visitation will be Thursday, November 18, from 10:00-11:00 a.m.
Burial will be private.
