Dorothy Campbell Azlin

Dorothy “Dot” Campbell Azlin, 91, of Colonial Heights, VA and formerly of Petersburg, VA passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017. Born in Bristol, VA she was the daughter of the late Vint T. and Lula Mae Jones Campbell; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence A. Azlin, Jr.; and one sister, Emma Jean Watts. Mrs. Azlin was a charter member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Petersburg, VA. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Miller and husband, Tom; a son, Larry Azlin and wife, Zoe Chen; and two grandchildren, Stephani Miller and Christopher Miller. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 19, 2017 in Blandford Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Wicker, officiating. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Crematory. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in memory of Mrs. Azlin.
