Dorothy Diane Beach, “Dee Dee”, 45, of Hopewell, VA, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 14, 2016. Dee Dee was born on February 8, 1971 in Hopewell, VA and resided in Chester, VA. She graduated from Hopewell High School and attended Bryant & Stratton College. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and a friend to everyone. She is survived by her devoted companion and loved ones, John F. Dickens, Haywood W. Dickens, Irene A. Dickens “Grandma”; her children, Daniel A. Beach, Heather N. Beach, and granddaughter, Isabella A. Beach; Fawn Showalter, and Paris N. Lucas. Her siblings include Deborah B. Levenson, Dwayne R. Beach, and Thomas A. Beach. Her nieces and nephews include Mollie and Tessa Broughman, Tina B. Hawkins, David and Noah Hawkins; Arynn M. Beach, Claire L. Johnson and Landry C. Johnson. She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard A. Beach and Iva H. Beach; and her brother, David L. Beach. The family will receive friends Saturday, May 21, from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and following at 14225 Glenmorgan Drive, in Chester.
