Clay, Dorothy Marie, 94 of Hopewell, Virginia passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday, February 2nd, 2019. She was preceded in death by her Husband Charles Henry Clay,Her Mother, Daisey Margie Alleyfair Orender, Her Father, Will Long. She is survived by two daughters Marjorie Nunnally(Raymond) of Hopewell, Virginia, Rebecca Garland(Tom) of Cordova, Alaska, & her son Roger Garland(Vicki) of Blue Ridge Georgia,15 Grandchildren, 17 Great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren × 1 on the way.Dorothy loved the Lord, Her Family, & her Bible. Her passions were her writing of many children's stories, singing, attending church at Joy Fellowship Church where she was a lifetime member & mostly spending time with her family.The family will receive friends at a Celebration of Life Ceremony on Tuesday February 5th, 2019, at 6pm at Joy Fellowship Church located at 1001 Perrymont Road, Hopewell, VA 23860 You are welcome to bring a dish to share.
