Dorothy â??Jeanieâ? Wilson Crawford of Chester, VA died on Wednesday, July 9, 2008. She was the step-daughter of the late Robert L. Morter, Jr. and daughter of the late Dorothy Ashley Morter. Jeanie was also preceded in death by her husband, Wayne D. Crawford, Sr. and son, Wayne D. Crawford, Jr. She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, and â??Grammyâ?. During her working career she spent approximately 20 years with Phillip Morris as a secretary before retiring. Jeanie is survived by her daughter, Lori C. Edwards and husband Mason; her daughter-in-law, Angie Crawford, both of Chester; and her grandchildren, Jordan and Macy Edwards. The family will receive friends at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Chesterfield on Sunday, July 13, 2008 from 3 to 5 p.m. Funeral services will be held there in the chapel on Monday at 10 a.m. with interment following in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
