Dorothy Anne Williamson Dalton â??Grannyâ?, 79, of Dinwiddie passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 13, 2009. She was the daughter of the late John Edward Williamson and Dorothy Lee Cliborne Williamson and the widow of Waymon Ray Dalton. Dorothy was also preceded in death by a brother, James Edward â??Jimmyâ? Williamson. Grannyâ??s house was always full of family and friends because the door was always open. She is survived by her daughter, Sheryl Anne Dalton Rhodes and husband, Melvin; granddaughters, Sherra Anne Rhodes Webb and her husband, Andrew and Alysha Rene Rhodes Crabtree and her husband, Scott; great grandchildren, Caroline Anne â??Carlyâ? Webb, Andrew Carlton â??A.J.â? Webb, Jr., Sarah Nicole â??Beanâ? Webb and Eden Elizabeth Sharpe-Crabtree; brother, Ashland â??Buddyâ? Williamson; sister, Juanita â??Bootsieâ? Wilson and Vera â??Curlyâ? Moore; brother-in-law, Glenn Dalton and his wife, Mary; sisters-in-law, Ethel Goad and Sylvia Dalton as well as extended family members, Sandra and Frank Rhodes and Bryan and Kellie Rhodes and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Friday, May 15, 2009 from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Williamson Family Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to either Dinwiddie Rescue Squad, P.O.
