Dorothy Eanes

Dorothy Poe Eanes, 85, formerly of Petersburg died peacefully Saturday, November 20, 2010 at her daughterâ??s home in Lake Mary, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Robert Poe and Gladys Willard Poe, also preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, George Edward Eanes Jr. and daughter Celeste Miles Argenzia. She was a devoted long term member of St. Johnâ??s Episcopal Church. She is survived by a daughter, Joan Abbott Hughey of Lake Mary, Fl and son, Robert E. Eanes, of Supply, NC, sister Margaret Poe Ford, brothers Ronald Poe and Edgar Poe all of Colonial Heights, eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at St. Johnâ??s Episcopal Church in Petersburg. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday November 23rd at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
