Dorothy Talbott Goodson

Dorothy Talbott Goodson, 92, of Colonial Heights, VA, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022. Born in Richmond, VA, she was the daughter of the late Clinton and Kathleen May Talbott; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Frederick "Ted" Goodson. Mrs. Goodson was a devoted member of Mission Community Church, in Chester, VA. She is survived by her son, Dewain Hammond (Nita); a daughter, Kathy Ritcher; two stepsons, Eddie Goodson (Brenda) and Steven Couch (Susan); eight grandchildren; and three great-grandsons. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Bermuda Memorial Park, with the Rev. Pete Hypes officiating. The family is being served by the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Mission Community Church Food Pantry, in memory of Dorothy Goodson.
