Dorothy Harvanek

Dorothy Hudson Harvanek, 61, of Church Road, Virginia died Friday, September 02, 2005 at her residence. Mrs. Harvanek was born in Dinwiddie County the daughter of the late Richard Arthur and Leta Ann Moore Hudson and the widow of George Wesley Harvanek. She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Church Road, Virginia. She is survived by her son, Steven D. Harvanek and wife, Dottie; grandchildren, Ashley Rae Harvanek, Ashby Lynn Harvanek and Steven Douglas Harvanek, II all of Colonial Heights, Virginia; sisters, Mary Cacek and husband, John and Martha Cairnes all of Sutherland, Virginia; brothers, James Hudson and wife, Mary of Church Road, Virginia and Lewis Hudson of Amelia, Virginia; step-grandchildren, Amy Bell of Roanoke, Virginia and Anna Beck of Waverly, Virginia. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 5, 2005 from 7 to 8:30 pm at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with entombment to follow at Southlawn Memorial Park.
