Dorothy Crowder Heath

Dorothy Crowder Heath, 92, of Carson, passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Elsie Branch Crowder; husband, Wiley G. Heath; and daughter, Donna H. Williams. Dorothy was an active member of Salem United Methodist Church. She was an avid crafter, a member of the Red Hatters Club, and enjoyed cooking for her family. She is survived by her daughter, Denise H. Moody (Mike); son-in-law, Randy Williams; sister, Elizabeth Dick; four grandchildren, Melissa Norris (Dave), Michelle Goode (Kris), Heath Williams (Meagan), and Jason Moody (Amanda); ten great-grandchildren who affectionately called her “Dot-Dot”; and a host of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, January 20, 2017 at Salem United Methodist Church, 19312 Templeton Rd., Carson, VA 23830. Interment will be private. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
