Dorothy Lewis

Dorothy Avis Lewis, 86, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2006 at Tandem Health Care in Windsor, VA. Born in Isle of Wight County on September 29, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Ryland G. Lewis and Mary Avis Lewis. She is survived by one niece, Ann Lewis of Boise, Idaho; three nephews, Robert W. Lewis of Davenport, Iowa, William R. Lewis of East Moline, IL, and James D. Lewis of Franklin, TN; sister-in-law, Eleanor Lewis of East Moline, IL; and a number of great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery, Windsor, VA, with the Rev. Tim Webb officiating.
