Dorothy Evelyn Parkinson

Dorothy Evelyn Parkinson, 91, of Chesterfield, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2012. She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Raymond Parkinson, and her parents, Seward Emmons Weymouth and Essie Button Weymouth. Mrs. Parkinson was a member of Swift Creek Baptist Church in Colonial Heights, Va., and the Colonial Heights Senior Center and the Shepherd’s Center of Chesterfield. She is survived by her son, Richard Parkinson (Lorraine) ; daughter, Susan Galdamez (John); granddaughter, Nancy Robbins (Ed); grandchildren, Ryan Galdamez (Shelly), Dr. Michael Galdamez (Amy), Erin Prigge (Ryan), Elissa Parkinson-Stephen (Chad), Adam Parkinson; great-grandchildren, Edward III, Michael and Ashley Robbins, Nathanyal, Charys, Katelyn, Elijah, Noel and Adilee Galdamez, Michael, Jr., Hudson and Hannah Galdamez, Olivia and Mia Prigge. There will be a memorial service held on Monday, November 26, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home, Chester Chapel. Interment will be private.
