Dorothy E. Peade

Dorothy E. Peade, 67, of Prince George, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013. Born in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late Joseph M. and Emily Kvasnicka Blaha. She was a member of Monumental Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rosie Vinsh. Mrs. Peade is survived by her husband, Cecil B. Peade; daughter, Sharon Rudd and husband, Kit; son, Gerald Peade and wife, Lori; grandchildren, Lane Peade and Lauren Peade; brothers, John Blaha and wife, Trish, Joe Blaha, Jr. and wife, Julie, and Rudolph Horak and wife, Sarah; a sister, Elsie Olson. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 7th at Monumental Baptist Church with Pastor Barry Ginn officiating. Entombment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
