Dorothy Remorenko

Dorothy Dale Remorenko, 85, of Waverly, passed away on Thursday May 10, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents; James and Cora Bishop Oakley, husband of 44 years; Frank M. Remorenko, Jr., grandson Courtney Frank, two sisters and one brother. Dorothy was a long time member of the Waverly Rescue Squad and a member of Waverly United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir, the first Miss Sussex, and a receptionist for Dr. Rosenberg in Waverly for numerous years. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and also an avid gardener. She is survived by her son; F. Michael Remorenko III and wife, Allen of Louisa, daughter; Polly R. Cowling and husband, G.B. Cowling Jr., of Waverly, son; Randy Remorenko and wife Vina of Denton, Texas, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one brother, three sisters, numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Sunday May 13, 2012 in Waverly Cemetery at 2:00 PM, interment will follow the service.
