Dorothy Carden Rowe

Dorothy Carden Rowe, 81, of Chester, VA passed away on Friday, February 12, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Allen Woodrow Carden and Eula Mae Carden; and her loving husband, Levy Vernon Rowe. She is survived by her children, Larry W. Rowe and wife, Sherry; Barry L. Rowe and wife, Edie; and Pamela R. Jones and husband, Scott; grandchildren, Derek Rowe (Blair); Cody Jones (Jenn); Crystal Rowe (Maegan); Allison Slaughter (Matt); Amy Piedra (Eric); Daniel Jones; Emily Rowe (Walter); Patrick Rowe (Alexis); and Blake Jones (Kayla); 13 great grandchildren; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Dorothy loved sewing, crocheting, and other crafts. She was devoted to her children, grandchildren, and the many children she cared for in her home as a homemaker. She loved her Enon Baptist Church Family and Fidelis Class, Red Hatter Club, and many other friends. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home Chester Chapel 3050 W. Hundred Rd. Chester, VA 23831. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
