Dorothy Sutton

Dorothy Falls Sutton, 93, of W. Broadway, Hopewell, died, Friday, July 30, 2004 at her residence. She was born in New York City, NY. and had been a resident of this area since 1922. Mrs. Sutton was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Henry and Francis Genet Falls, her husband, Roy Vaten Sutton, daughter Patricia S. Bagshaw , two sisters, Rose Robertson and Frances Covington, two brothers, Arthur L. Falls and William Falls. She is survived by her granddaughter, Teresa E. Bagshaw, two sisters, Murial F. “Dolly” Chapman and Veronica F. Gage both of Hopewell. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7-8:30 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Monday, August 2, 2004 at 2:00PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. James Rogers pastor of Powers Memorial Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, 2nd & Randolph Rd., Hopewell, Virginia 23860
