Dorothy Hines Wehren

Dorothy Hines Wehren, 93, of N. Chesterfield, passed away on August 25, 2014. Born in New Bern, NC she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ellen Duer Hines; and was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Erich “Shorty” Wehren; and one daughter, Donna Keppen. Mrs. Wehren is survived by four daughters, Marci Hutson and husband, Dave, Virginia Smelley, Patsy Whittaker and husband, Vince, Paige Hershey and husband, David; one son, Fred Wehren and wife, Darlene, fourteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; and two brothers, John and Louis Hines. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Dale Memorial Park, Chesterfield, VA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bellwood Baptist Church, 9138 Quinnford Boulevard, North Chesterfield, VA 23237.
