Douglas Delano Billings

Billings, Douglas Delano, 80, of Chesterfield, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Saturday, January 5, 2018. He was preceded in death by his his parents, Letcher and Beulah Billings; and brother, Ronald Billings. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Evelyn; sons, John (Amy) and Scott; grandchildren, Natalie, Michael, Daniel, Chelsea, Grayson, Ainsley, and Gracyn; siblings, Norris Billings and Susan Lowman; and a dear friend Tyler Scalone. He retired from Dupont after more than 25 years of service, to begin a career in real estate. Douglas was a past president of the Enon Optimist Club and the Enon Athletic Association. He loved coaching football and baseball. A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Friday, January 11th at Enon Church of God, 900 Enon Church Rd, Chester, VA 23836.
