Douglas Ray Eddins, Sr., 60, of Dinwiddie, passed away on June 28, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Ila Eddins; son, Douglas Eddins, Jr.; granddaughter, Jaylyn Hinchey; and siblings, David Eddins and Doris Cairns. Douglas is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Patricia Eddins; children, David Eddins (Lindsay), Amanda Eddins, Patience Eddins, Sheena Hinchey, Brittany Hinchey, and Brandon Kovalaske; grandchildren, Alexus Eddins "Doodlebug," Emmie Lou Eddins "Lou," Dennie Mae Eddins "BooBoo," Anselmo Serna "Spank," Jay Serna "Turtleman," David Mills "Fatman," Brooklyn Mills "BooBoo," Payton Madore "BooBoo," and Coleman Madore "Fatman;" siblings, Joyce Millis (Donnie), Betty Rhodes (Claiborne), and Patricia Ellis; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 11, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the J.T. Morriss & Son - Petersburg Chapel. Interment will be private.
