Douglas Martin Livesay

Douglas Martin Livesay, 64, passed away March 7, 2023. Mr. Livesay was raised in Hopewell, VA, and was the son of the late, Roy M. Livesay and Lynda M. Livesay He was also preceded in death by uncles, Archie W. Martin, Jr. and Brady Livesay; and aunt, Ann Livesay.

Mr. Livesay was a graduate of Hopewell High School and worked for 38 years at Allied Chemical/Honeywell. He was an avid Virginia Cavalier football and basketball fan and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

Mr. Livesay was a devoted father and excellent provider for his family.

He is survived by his children, Cynthia Livesay and Adam Livesay; brother, Darrell Livesay; grandchildren, Jody, Kayla, Serena, and Thomas Livesay; great-grandchildren, Angelia, Jody, Jr., Khloe Livesay, and Alisia Bartell; several cousins, devoted friends, and other extended family.
