Douglas Dean Mclaughlin

Douglas Dean McLaughlin, 56, of Prince George, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Velma McLaughlin and sister-in-law, Christi McLaughlin. Douglas is survived by his children, Douglas, Brittni and Sierra McLaughlin; brothers, William and James McLaughlin; and girlfriend Darlene. Douglas dedicated 30 years of service to AdvanSix, formally Honeywell. Douglas was also the battalion chief of Namozine Volunteer Fire Department in Dinwiddie County and a life member of the Prince George County EMS crew. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 8, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park, 1911 Birdsong Rd, Petersburg, VA 23805. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Prince George EMS, PO Box 68, Prince George, VA 23875, and Namozine Fire Department, 3913 Pelham St, Petersburg, VA 23803.
