Doyle Franklin Bynum

Doyle Franklin Bynum, 90, of Disputanta, VA, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Summie and Carrie H. Bynum; and his loving wife, Evelyn Bynum. Doyle was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Korean War. He was a graduate of Appalachian State University and spent many years as an accountant. He is survived by his son, Chris Bynum (Tammie); son, Danny Riddle (Patsy); son, Sammy Riddle (Pam); daughter, Nancy Harold; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; special friend, Dave Twigg; as well as numerous extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home 3050 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, VA. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the Chester Chapel. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
