Doyle Stover

Doyle Marvin Stover, 80, of Chester died Wednesday, November 1, 2006 in John Randolph Medical Center. He was born in Cottageville, West Virginia and had been a long time resident of the Chester area. Mr. Stover served in the U.S. Navy as a Machinist Mate during WWII and was a retired machinist from Allied Chemical and Park 500. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville Thomas and Focie Herdman Stover and a daughter, Kay Stover Nutter. Mr. Stover is survived by his wife Jacquelyn Stover of Chester, one daughter, Gail S. Buyalos and her husband George of Chester, three sons, Martin T. Stover of Hopewell, Tracy W. Stover and his wife Ginnie of Virginia Beach, Nathan A. Stover and his wife Nell of Mineral, VA, 10 grandchildren, David Nutter, Missy Archer and her husband David, Allison, Erin, Kirsten, Chad, Megan, Courtney, Georgia and Gus Stover, one great grandchild, Dylan Archer, three sisters, Cleo Kernahan, Macie DeWeese, Lola Plumley, of West Virginia, and one brother, Boyd Stover and his wife, Helen of Iowa. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 2, 2006 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Friday, November 3, 2006 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Bruce Bevans, Rector of St. Johnâ??s Episcopal Church, officiating. Interment will be in Bermuda Memorial Park, Chesterfield County. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Johnâ??s Episcopal Church, 505 Cedar Lane, Hopewell, Virginia 23860.
