Earl Mayfield Cole

Earl Mayfield Cole, 87, of Chesterfield, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Cole and Lena Freemeyer; and wife, Mary Bristow Cole. Earl was a long-time member of the Bensley Volunteer Fire Dept. and Rescue Squad. In his free time he enjoyed spending time at his cottage on the Chesapeake Bay. Earl is survived by his son, Earl Wayne Cole (Sharon); daughter, Teresa Cole Haddon (Gerald); son, Bruce Dean Cole; grandchildren, Jeremy Cole, Brett Cole, David Cole, Christopher Haddon (Regina), Heather Haddon Seymour; great-grandchildren, Tyler Seymour, Hannah Seymour, Kayla Haddon, and Brendan Haddon. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service in Dale Memorial Park will be private.
