Earl Lee Hogarth

Earl Lee Hogarth, 98, of Chester, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Nora Hogarth; his first wife, Billie Hogarth; as well as his second wife, Helen Hogarth; and his sister, Virginia Hancock.

Earl was a family man who loved the Lord above all, but he had a variety of other interests. He enjoyed spending time at his river house down at Claremont and loved being out on the water on his boat. Earl also enjoyed staying active, whether that was time spent working out at the YMCA or tending to his garden. Earl also liked hunting, watching football and racing, and reading. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

Earl is survived by his children, Kenneth Wayne Hogarth (Tanya), Belinda Burch, Susan Ozmar (Barry), and Lori Hogarth; step children, Linda Milburn, Jeff Ride (Sue), and Michelle Woods; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 6:00-8:00 PM, at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Road, Chester. A funeral service will be held in the chapel the following day at 11:00 AM, with interment following the service at Sunset Memorial Park.
