Earnestine Parson Oliver

Earnestine Parson Oliver, 87 of Hopewell Va., went to be with the Lord January 5, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Paul Parson, and Alpha Wray Aultman;her husband, Lewis W. Oliver; and her brothers, Eugene Hampton Parson, Kenneth Woodrow Parson, Rueben Leon Parson, and Walter Thomas Parson. She is survived by her sister, Nina Jean Clemen; niece, Sammie P. Sprague and husband, Gary; nephew, Ernest H. Parson and wife, Johnette; great niece, Wendy S. Weitkemper and husband, Adam; great nephew, Jason E. Sprague and wife, Lisa; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Earnestine was Devout Christian and a longtime member of First United Methodist Church in Hopewell. She retired from Butterworth Furniture Co. after more than 50 years of service. The family will receive friends Friday, January 11, 2019 6-8p.m. at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home Chester Chapel 3050 W. Hundred Rd. Chester, Virginia 23831. A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019 11a.m. at First United Methodist Church 502 W.
