Edith Millington Leslie, 68, of Hopewell died Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at her residence. She was born in Richmond, VA and had made her home in Hopewell for a number of years. Mrs. Leslie was a member of the Ladies of the Moose, served as secretary for #3 Circle at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church and was retired from the Accounting Department of Reynolds Metal Co. She was the daughter of the late Richard Thomas and Lillie Peay Millington. Mrs. Leslie is survived by her husband, Leonard G. Leslie of Hopewell, one son, Leonard G. Leslie, Jr. and his wife Sonja of Christiansburg, VA, a sister, Patricia Gulick and her husband Lawrence of Richmond, VA, a brother-in-law, Earl Leslie and his wife Frances, mother-in-law, Leona Leslie, all of Hopewell and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 15, 2006 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Friday, June 16, 2006 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Edward Bellis, pastor of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church officiating.
