Edith Lopez

Edith Virginia Lopez, 76, of Dinwiddie Co., died Monday, August 10, 2009 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Ivan and Edith F. Moncure Lopez. She graduated from Wooster High School in Wooster, OH. After graduation Edith Virginia was employed by several companies in Wooster to include Rubbermaid, Natelinâ??s Restaurant, she was an avid lover of horses and loved to ride, also she owned several horses, and was an avid reader and especially loved religious books. She was a dedicated member of Shiloh Baptist Church in Carson, VA. She is survived by two cousins, Jacquelin S. Taylor and Robert M. Spiers and wife, Linda all of Dinwiddie; sister-in-law, Lynn Lopez of Pensacola, FL and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 10:00 am, Thursday, August 13, 2009 at Southlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Wesy Chappell, 1117 Ft.
