Edith Marable

Edith Marable, 79, of Ettrick, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2005. Born in Ettrick, she was the daughter of the late, Ralph and Sallie Belcher Marable. She was a retired employee of Philip Morris and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Preceded in death by two brothers, Ranny Marable and Herbert Marable, she is survived by two nieces, Michaele M. Shriver of Ettrick and Teresa M. Duncan of Enon; two sisters-in-law, Mary Alice Marable of Colonial Heights and Ruth Marable of Matoaca; numerous cousins including one devoted, Kay McGlone of Matoaca; and special friends, Olivia Dozier, Mike Lamar, and Randy Cary. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2 PM Friday, November 25, at Southlawn Memorial Park. Her remains rest at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T.
