Edith Anne Thomas

Edith Anne Thomas, 65, of Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 11, 2014. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry M. Hurst. After retiring from Dominion Power, Edith enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and loved taking them to the river. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, James H. Thomas; mother, Edith Hurst; children, Buffy Hawk and husband, Todd, and Kevin Hurst; sisters, Carol Bullington and husband, Paul, Ethel Blackman and husband, Bob, and Barbara Butler; her adored grandchildren, Shelby, Kailey, and Hunter; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
