Our Lord has called one of his sweetest Angels, Edith O. Hoyle ?Eanes-Vance, age 85 to come home on March 14, 2005. Her parents were the late Kenneth Lake and Lena Clark Hoyle, and her husband German?Baker? Eanes, sisters,Sarah Hoyle, Gloria Blick and a brother George Lee Hoyle preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons and daughter in laws-John K (JK)and Doris Fitts Eanes of Chesterfield, Gary M. ?Baker?`and Carol Butler Eanes of Dinwiddie. Two grandsons, Mark A. and Kim West Eanes of Church Road and Kenneth W. Eanes and a special friend Herman Kitchen of Emporia. A sister Mildred H. Doyle of Colonial Heights and a brother, Jerry and Phyllis Hoyle of Petersburg, and a number of nieces and nephews. Edith (Edie) was a devoted Christian, Mother-in-law, and grandmother. She was a member of Elm Street Baptist Church for forty plus years , a Sunday School teacher and loved in sing in the choir. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday March 17, 2005 11:00 A.M. at the graveside in Blandford Cemetery with the Rev. Harvey W. Skinner pastor of Elm Street Baptist Church officiating . The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 7:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M.
