Edith Ashby Wright

Edith Ashby Wright, 88, of S. Chesterfield, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Algie G. Ashby and Florence Luck Ashby; and husband, Charles L. Wright. Edith is survived by her daughter, Deborah F. Carter (Daniel); son, Kenneth W. Wright (Evelyn); seven grandchildren, Larry M. Blackburn, Jr. (Sherry), Benjamin G. Blackburn (Nichole), Derrick P. Fuller (Shannon), Charles J. Wright (Jessica), Nicole Kirkbride, Codey Kirkbride and Alma Fuller ; and nine great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, July 28, 2017 at Blandford Cemetery. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
