Edward Eugene Armstrong

Major (Ret.) Edward Eugene Armstrong, 83, of Colonial Heights, VA went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 4, 2017. Mr. Armstrong was born on December 24, 1933 in Bakersfield, California. He was retired from the United States Army having served in Korea and Vietnam. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Katherine Armstrong; two sons, Charles Armstrong and his wife, Kathryn and Stephen Armstrong and his wife, Anna; and six grandchildren, Ashton, Katherine, Jonathan, Carson, Ryan and Julia. A private graveside service will be held in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Fisher House by visiting www.fisherhouse.org .
