Edward Ashley Bridgman

Edward Ashley Bridgman, 65, of Prince George, passed away on Tuesday, May 31, 2022. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kristy Bridgman; father and mother, John and Lillian Bridgman; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Benjamin and Bessie Harrison.
Edward Bridgman worked as an operator with Castle Equipment for 35 years and Perkinson Construction for 4 years. He loved operating his excavator. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and tending to his garden. Most of all, he loved spending time with his beloved grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Debra Bridgman; sons, Shayne Bridgman (Wanda), and Chad Bridgman; grandchildren, Corey Bridgman (Ashleigh), Kate Bridgman, and Conner Bridgman; siblings, Johnny Bridgman, William Bridgman, Mitch Mackiewicz, Robert Bridgman, and Ruth Hatfield; brother-in-law, Timothy Harrison (Shelby); sister-in-law, Melody Martin (Michael); and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm on Friday, June 3, 2022 at North Dinwiddie Church, 25213 Ferndale Rd. North Dinwiddie, VA 23803. Funeral services will be private.
