Edward Joseph Conrecode, Jr.

Edward Joseph Conrecode, Jr., age 71, of Prince George, Virginia, passed away on November 8, 2024. Born on January 19, 1953, to the late Edward Joseph Conrecode, Sr. and Millicent Frances Shaffer, Ed was raised with a love for hands-on work that became a lifelong passion. A talented Master Technician, Ed dedicated his life to repairing and restoring everything from cars to boats, tractors to lawn mowers. Known for his skill, dedication, and a tool always within reach, he was the go-to person for family and friends in need of a helping hand.

Ed is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie Conrecode; his son, Edward J. Conrecode III; his daughter, Dana Conrecode; his two cherished grandchildren, Theadore Miller and Aerolyn Betley; and his brother, Emmett Conrecode. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles H. Conrecode and James M. Conrecode, whose memories he carried with him always.

A devoted family man, Ed's legacy lives on through his family, his work, and the countless lives he touched with his quiet strength, devotion, and craftsmanship. His memory will be a source of comfort, pride, and inspiration for all who knew and loved him.

A funeral service will be held Friday, November 15, 2024, at 11 am, at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, with entombment to follow at Southlawn Memorial Park.
