Edward Digmon

Edward Merle Digmon, 60, of Surry passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Merle and Lilas Digmon Miller. Ed retired from VDOT in 1998 where he worked at the Jamestown-Scotland Ferry. He is survived by his step-father, Merlin â??Jackâ? Miller and wife, Mary of Fairhope, Alabama; companion, Judith L. Taylor; children, Daniel Taylor, Douglas Taylor, Savannah Taylor and Kassidy Digmon; half-brother, Christopher Miller of Chicago, Illinois; uncle, Richard Hammock of California and numerous cousins. The family will receive friends at the Purviance Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Wakefield on Thursday, April 1, 2010 from 1 to 2pm. A graveside service will be held at 3pm on Thursday following the visitation at Albert G. Horton Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk.
