Edward Samuel Epes Jr.

Edward Samuel Epes Jr., 68, of Montgomery Village Maryland, Waldorf Maryland, and Dinwiddie Virginia, passed away on January 25, 2018. He is survived by his loving wife Susan; sons William (David) and Robert; grandchildren Abigale, Travis, and Melanie; brother Waverly (Patti); sister Dorothy Eckley; aunt Audrey Lunsford; and many other extended family members. Ed was an active member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Private Wallace Bowling Camp #1400. The family will receive friends on Thursday February 1, from 11:30am to 1:30pm at the Petersburg chapel of the J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 103 S. Adams Street. A graveside service will follow at 3pm in Blandford Cemetery. Online condolences may be registered at
