Edward Mcnamara Smith

Edward McNamara Smith, 64, of Midlothian, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2013. Born in Petersburg, Virginia, he was the son of the late John Edward Smith and Mabel Dabney Reames. Mr. Smith retired after 26 years with Bank of America and at his time of passing was Chief Development Officer with Commonwealth Catholic Charities. He is survived by his loving wife, Rita Moyer Smith; daughter, Hilary McNamara Smith; twin brother, John Dabney Smith; and cousin, Paige Smith Brockwell. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Monday, December 30, 2013 at Salisbury Presbyterian Church, 13621 W. Salisbury Rd., Midlothian, VA 23113. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Interment will take place at 1:30 pm in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, VA.
