Edward Snowden

Edward Allen Snowden, age 58, of Chesterfield, VA, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2010. He is survived by his mother, Laverne C. Snowden, his daughter, Brandi S. Madison and husband, Brian; grandchildren, Brandon and Lindsay Madison; sister, Carol Snowden Koogler and fiancé, Jay Marks; nephew, Travis Koogler and fiancé, Jessica Farmer; and girlfriend, Margrit Dosier. He was born in Richmond, VA the son of the late James E. Snowden. He was a dedicated and loving father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle. His love for his family was felt by all and his great sense of humor will be dearly missed. Allen was a dedicated employee of Chesterfield County Parks and Recreation and took great pride in his work. The family will receive friends at the Chester chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Thursday, July 1, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 2, at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
