Edward Sulc, 80, of High Peak Lane, Prince George County, died Sunday, January 25, 2004 at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of Prince George. Mr. Sulc was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a retired pipefitter at Hercules, Inc. with 35 years of service and a member of the Church of Christ. He was the son of the late Vaclav and Lydia Ondra Sulc. Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Respess Sulc of Prince George, three sons, Edward M. Sulc and wife, Gloria of Washington, NC, Stanley B. Sulc and wife Rebecca of Mooresville, NC., and Kevin A. Sulc and wife Lauri of Anderson, Ind., two daughters, Lydia S. Owens and husband Julian of Lizton, Ind. and Verla S. Martin of Alexandria, VA., 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, a sister, Marie S. Sluka of Livonia, Mich., three brothers, Jim Sulc and Paul Sulc, both of Prince George and Dan Sulc of Swannanoa, NC. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 PM at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Thursday, Jan 29, 2004 at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel with Connie Adams of Church of Christ in Louisville, TN and Roy Diestelkamp of Church of Christ, Ontario, Canada officiating. Interment will be in Bermuda Memorial Park, Chesterfield County.
