Edwin Bruce Holman

Edwin Bruce Holman, 78 of Hopewell, VA., passed away, Sunday, March 5, 2017.
He is the son of the late Thomas A. and Florence V. Gill Holman.
Mr. Holman is survived by his wife, Georgia Holman; daughter, Norma Townsend and husband, Robert Owens; son, Roy E. Townsend, Sr. and wife, Janine; grandchildren, Albert Steadman and wife, Jackie, Jessica Lloyd and husband, Evander, Tiffany Jones and husband, Darren, and Roy E. Townsend, Jr.; two great-grandchildren and numerous extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, March 9, 2017 at J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 820 W. Broadway Hopewell, VA., 23860.
A graveside service will be held, 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 10, 2017 at Appomattox Cemetery.
