Edwin Lambert Wood

Edwin Lambert Wood, 71, of Richmond passed away on December 21, 2013. He was the son of the late Reverend Harry DuPrey Wood, Jr. Mr. Wood was a member of the Eden Masonic Lodge A.F.& A.M. #136. He was a graduate of Wake Forest University. He was an active realtor for Prudential Slater Realtors and was the former State Director of the Office on Aging in the State of Virginia. He is survived by his son, Edwin L. “Bert” Wood, Jr.; mother, Virginia Lambert Wood; a brother, Harry D. Wood, III; one sister, Sue W. McLendon; two nephews, Harry IV and Tyler; and two nieces, Elizabeth and Emily. All services will be private. The family is being served by the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Chester Baptist Church Companion Dinner Fund.
