Eike Hueter

After a long illness, Mr. Eike Hueter, 80, of Chesterfield, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at Lucy Corr Village in Chesterfield, Virginia. Born July 31, 1938 in Berlin, Germany he was the son of the late Hans. H. and Ruth L. Hueter. Mr. Hueter was a retiree of Richard Bland College where he was the Librarian. Mr. Hueter is survived by his brother, Uwe Hueter (Peggy) of Huntsville, Alabama; his sister, Wendula (Helmuth) Schmalzl of Germering, Germany; and nieces, Stephanie M. Dean (John) of Hanover, Maryland and Sonya K. Roth (Marc) of Huntsville, Alabama. A graveside will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday December 4, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Park in Chester, Virginia. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude for the care given to Mr. Hueter by the personnel at the Matoaca Nursing Home Section at Lucy Corr and Heartland Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to a charity of your choice.
